District 6 — officially the Global Digital Trade Center — is the most ambitious addition to the Yiwu market complex. Located directly east of District 5, it opened in phases from late 2025. This is not a scaled-up version of the traditional small goods market. District 6 integrates high-speed cross-border data infrastructure that connects suppliers directly to international e-commerce platforms. The facility is designed for brands that sell globally online — not just buyers who walk the floor. This is a fundamental shift in how Yiwu trades.
